GIVEAWAY: My Emmy Baby Custom Personalized Fashions

When it came time to tell family and friends that we were expecting our second child, my husband and I decided that it would be fun to let Big Sister E spill the news by wearing a shirt declaring her future status as the older sibling. As my in-laws were coming to visit that weekend, we took a few days and searched the stores for something cute that would grab their attention while getting our point across.

Finding it to be a much harder task than we realized it would be, we finally picked out a pretty plain white shirt with the words Big Sister written across the front. Not very exciting and, unfortunately, not the cutest thing ever - particularly considering the price that we ended up paying for it. To top it off, when the grandparents arrived, my father-in-law didn't really get it. It took my mother-in-law really reading the words to finally ask, "Why does her shirt say big sister? Does that mean..." before we were able to celebrate with them.

No, the moment wasn't ruined or anything, it just wasn't as exciting as we had pictured. I think had Big Sister E been wearing something that was high quality or personalized or actually CUTE, it would have made a difference. There's no way that my father-in-law could have been confused if he had walked in to see this:

I loved browsing through the Sample Designs shown, there were so many that were sweet or smart or funny or just simply really cute. However, it was hard to know where to even begin. There were multiple options for birthdays, newborns, twins, boys, girls, holidays, sports... you get the picture. And they all showcased clean lines, great colors and modern fonts that worked so well together. Plus, I thought it was great that your finished look can be on a onesie, toddler tee, youth tee or even in multiple sizes and colors of a long sleeved shirt.

As our choice of big sister shirt for Big Sister E turned out to be somewhat of a flop, I was immediately drawn to the Big/Little/Middle Sister or Brother designs offered on My Emmy Baby. After sorting through the different shapes and the matching or contrasting colors, I told Emily my favorites and, only a short time later, was rewarded with these:


The 100% combed cotton is soft and comfortable, the images are professionally heat pressed so there is no peeling and the quality has been evident from how well the designs have held up through multiple washings. I loved the way these shirts turned out so much that my daughters wore them on Christmas day to visit with family - and were a big hit!
