Recently Big Sister E and I flew from chilly Wisconsin down to warm Arizona for a mini-vacation with my mom. Even though we missed Little Sister B and Daddy terribly, it was fun to have this adventure together, just the two of us. We saw the sights, we soaked up a little sun and Big Sister E even got to personally bring a bowl of this:

The upcoming week will take you through the must-have, essential, don't-leave-home-without-it items for traveling with kids. We used each and every one of these and they were a lifesaver in their own way. If you're planning a trip or will ever be traveling with children, be sure to check out the following categories and the essentials for each one (which will be updated as the week goes on):
1. Organization: Mrs. Smith's Diaper Bags
2. Safety: CARES Child Aviation Restraint System
3. Entertainment: My Busy Kit
4. Comfort: Travel Buddies
5. More Entertainment: RandomLine On-The-Go Games
6. Potty Breaks: On-the-Go Inflatable Potty Seat
7. Luggage: High Sierra Sport Company
Happy travels!
Great tips Xenia! Thanks for sharing! I am hoping to go on a trip with my family before the baby comes, but we will stay somewhat close "just in case."

We are planning a long road trip with the kids this summer to visit my parents, and I'm VERY anxious as we'll have an almost-2 year old and the baby will be around 6 months (due any day now!), with the possible added bonus of a 5 year old niece! :-) Love reading your blog as always! :-)
