As a mom, I know I'm not the only one who finds it difficult to get together with my friends once in a while. It's not to say that I don't get to see them, because that's not true. In fact, we hang out regularly, maybe spending a morning chasing our kids around the zoo, keeping them from pulling books off the shelf at the library (I'm talking to you, Little Sister B) or convincing them to take turns on the swings at the park.But as for finding spare moments to sit and chat, possibly relax and put our feet up and laugh together as real people? No, not too often.
