Sock Grams {Review & Giveaway} Trick or Treat their feet!

It isn't even October and Big Sister E is already very excited about Halloween this year. I think by the end of her multiple outings trick-or-treating a year ago (in the mall, at the library, our neighborhood, etc.) the concept of dressing up = candy finally sunk in.

And really, candy is pretty much what Halloween is all about. Which I always find fine... to an extent. Why is it that I'm the one around here still eating it in March? With the overabundance of sweets at holidays year-round, it would be nice to have a unique little way to celebrate that didn't involve calories and sugar. Something, perhaps, fun and soft and cute? In perfect time for me to be able to wear for the next month and a half, the black and white of the Skull and Crossbones Checkered Socks were a great contrast to the bright orange paper they came wrapped in. After unwrapping and marveling at the fun design ("I like your pirate socks, Mommy!" Big Sister E immediately said), all that remained was to take them for a test drive.

Soft, stretchy and comfortable, I had plans to wear these socks continuously from now until Halloween until, as is common around here, I had to give them up for other people to take a turn.
