I really think that there should be an occasion or event every month that entails children dressing up in costumes. Don't you think that people would be happier if, say, on the 14th of every month they knew that when they went out in public they would run into kids looking like this?

There's just something about the thought of running into a princess or a pirate at the grocery store that seems like it would brighten the whole trip.

But when it comes to finding unique costumes for Halloween or dress-up, sometimes it's hard to know where to look. After a while the picked-over racks in the stores just look cheap and the endless list of online sites start to look the same. You may remember the My Baby Clothes Boutique giveaway held here back in July, where I marveled at the fashion-forward, trendy and just all-around cute clothes and accessories for little ones. But even though I had browsed through things like baby hats, baby headbands and baby tutus (so cute!), I hadn't really looked beyond the baby clothes to see just what fun costumes they offer.

But when this gown arrived, I knew right away that it would be just the thing to turn Little Sister B into an adorable, miniature-sized Snow White.

The detailed velvet bodice and puffed sleeves go well with the multi-layered tulle skirt, which is plenty full enough for princess-style twirling and whirling. I appreciated how easy it is to put this costume on, as I simply slipped it over Little Sister B's head and closed up the back with Velcro.

Plus, the addition of the removable cape is a great idea, as it gives a great finishing touch to the look but, in the case of your child growing tired of it, simply unhook the Velcro and take the cape away. Otherwise, just stand back and watch an imaginative good time occur right before your eyes.
