Storkie Express Holiday Cards {Review & Custom Postage Stamps Giveaway}

I am one of those people who do more than just notice details. Call me a perfectionist, obsessive, thorough, neurotic... it doesn't matter, they don't bother me when I'm analyzing a 1 mm difference in border width. In fact, even though I've driven my fair share of friends, family and perfect strangers nuts over the years with my nitpicking on projects that I (or they) have been working on, I'm not satisfied until the end result passes my complete inspection.

Therefore, when it comes to the Holiday Cards that I'm going to send out to all of our family and friends, they have to be absolutely perfect. I'm not going to be happy with a site that has a small selection of standard (i.e. boring) designs that only allow you to upload a picture and you're done. I have to have options and I have to have creative control over what I can do with them or else there's no chance I'm ordering from there.

I mentioned I'm a tad on the picky side, no?

The most recent site to meet my high standards, Storkie Express, doesn't only have stylish Christmas Cards but has hundreds of modern, classic or photo designs to suit every taste. For instance, the Snow Globe Photo Card above allows you to choose the background color, scene in the snow globe (I added those cute penguins) and if you want the pine trees, poinsettia and even a flying Santa. When it came time for me to order our cards, I knew I wanted to include more than one picture of my daughters, so I browsed through the Photo Christmas Cards for ones that allowed for multiple pictures. It didn't take too long before I had zeroed in on my favorite, the Cheery Trio Photo Card.
Simple, modern, whimsical... and place for three photos of my favorite little cuties. Even better, the block of color at the bottom had seven different options so that I was able to choose just what I liked best.

Uploading my photos took only a moment and I loved how easy it was to edit to get them just right. I was able to zoom in and slide the photo around to get the placement within the square just exactly how I wanted it. After quickly changing the text to our family's names, I was done.

I appreciated the three proofing options that Storkie Express includes, allowing me to either have my card printed exactly as shown in the preview, let Storkie make stylistic or grammar changes or have my order held until I approved a completed proof sent to my account.

After deciding on any extras to add to my order (such as extra envelopes, lined inner envelopes or return address printing), I chose between the four shipping options and put in my order late on a Wednesday night. Not even 48 hours later, I received an email confirming that my cards had shipped. Less than a week after that, a nicely wrapped package arrived.

Opening up the tissue paper, I couldn't wait to see how these cards looked in person. My proof had looked great, but would they meet my high standards?

I love these cards! Everything is just how I designed and the high quality cardstock is thick and strong. The pictures turned out crisp and clear (and adorable) and the colors are nice and bright. Having received return address printing on the back flap of the envelopes, I'm even more excited that I now have one less thing to do in getting these ready to send out!

The only thing that could make sending out these great cards would be including Storkie's great accessory: custom stamps. As they are the first thing that the recipient really sees, I'd love to set the festive mood with either the matching Funky Christmas Tree Stamps or, since I can never get enough pictures of my girls, the Custom Holiday Photo Postage Stamp.
