I have aspirations of being fully organized someday. There won't be any more digging around in closets for the cord that I need or scraping my hand along the bottom of my diaper bag for my keys and instead finding... well, who knows what that substance is.
But, let's face it, it's hard with kids. Everywhere they go they just require so much stuff. Starting from when they're babies and you tote around diapers, wipes, pacifiers and bottles and moving on to baby food and snacks and then sippy cups and toys and all those broken crayons... it's really no wonder that my diaper bag seems like a bottomless pit sometimes.
Well, parents everywhere can now rest assured that there is a solution. Unless you have a personal organizer go through your bag every night and put things where they belong, the next best thing is the Clic-It Smart Diaper Bag System.
The first thing I noticed when I pulled this diaper bag out of the packaging is that it doesn't look like a diaper bag. No pastel colors or embroidered characters, this is a stylish bag that looks classic and chic and would be great for both moms and dads.
The next thing I noticed, which is pretty much impossible to miss, is just how versatile and customizable this bag is. With its patent-pending quick-release clip system, you can choose just the right accessories to suit your baby or child's needs and activities. Whether you want to add, remove or rearrange, you'll always be able to find just what you're looking for based on where you clipped it.
Ready to create the perfect bag for me, I couldn't wait to check out the Clic-It Diaper Bag and a selection of its convenient accessories.
The options! The Clic-It Bag is made from strong, durable material, so right away I knew that this could withstand the wear and tear of years of use as well as being easy to clean and care for. The large size means that not only can you fit in everything that you want to carry, but that any time you want to leave the Cheerios at home and put your 15" or smaller laptop right inside, it's no problem.
Lifting up the Zip-Off Messenger Flap (that's right, turn this from a messenger bag into a tote bag by simply zipping off the flap), I was happy to find sturdy magnets that help hold things in place - I'm much more of a fan of magnets than Velcro. The two large front pockets were great for storage but paled in comparison to the roomy, easy-wipe interior.
Totaling up the storage, I found two front pockets, one large back pocket, two side pockets, two interior pockets, a large interior and seven accessory clips located in multiple locations across the bag. With a place for everything, you won't ever find yourself digging down to the depths of diaper bag darkness.
But as well as the pockets, the accessory clips are really the unique feature of Clic-It and just what make this bag customizable and able to keep you organized. By taking accessories such as the Bottle Holder, Insulated Tote, Pacifier Case, Gadget Case and more, you only need one hand to clip them right onto the inside or outside of the bag - there is even a clip on both ends above the bottle pockets.
And the accessories aren't just flimsy little pockets, they are just as high quality and durable as the bag itself. To get you started, the Clic-It Diaper Bag comes with the Clic-It Deluxe Changing Kit to make diapering on the go fast and easy.
More than just a changing pad, this all-in-one Kit could easily be unclipped and carried on its own when you're out running errands. I love that as well as the large, easy-clean changing pad, there are five additional pockets for wipes, diapers and more. Slip your keys and credit cards in the side and you've got a way to contain everything you need all in one place.
The Clic-It Bottle Holder is nice as well and the perfect size to insulate two bottles so that they will always be at the ready. As it has the same small magnets in the front and back as the Clic-It Bag, I thought it was great that as well as clipping on, this Bottle Holder stays firmly in place.
With the versatility to allow customers to choose exactly the options that they need, the Clic-It Smart Diaper Bag System ensures that you don't have to carry around anything more than just what you need. But, with it's great customization, the items that you do have can stay within reach and well-organized at all times.
And when parents have the opportunity to get out without the kids, simply unclip the options that aren't needed and you are left with a chic, fashionable bag... which converts between a messenger-style bag to a tote bag to a belt bag depending on your needs. It even has straps inside to hook right onto the stroller! Is there anything that Clic-It doesn't do?
Available with a black or green Zip-Off Messenger Flap, the Clic-It Smart Diaper Bag System (and the included Deluxe Changing Kit) retails for $49.99. Additional accessories range in price from $4.99 to $14.99 and can be purchased right on the Clic-It Bag website. You'll want to also Like Clic-It on Facebook for information and updates on on this innovative, convenient System.
But wait, there's more! Clic-It just kicked off their "Gearing Up for Baby" contest - a chance to win a Clic-It Diaper Bag and accessory package valued at $117 - and to enter all you have to do is send in an email! Head over to their website between now and December 24 to find the rules and details and then enter to win this great bag!
(Other than the Clic-It Smart Diaper Bag System and accessories that I was sent from Baby Boom in conjunction with my membership to Team Mom, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my opinion of these products.)
