Green Party Goods Eco-Cupcake Stands and Cupcake Wraps {Review & Giveaway}

Even though every time one of my daughters' birthdays roll around and I complain about the stress and work of planning their parties... I really do love it. I love having all of our family and friends over, seeing the kids play and have a good time and even the hours that I spend making sure that there is a full spread of food, drinks and, of course, desserts for everyone to enjoy.

I'm fortunate that my mom passed along many of my grandmother's serving dishes and fancy platters to help with a nice presentation of my food table... but, at the same time, I'm always a little hesitant to use them. Do I really want to lay out glass and crystal in a house full of toddlers and preschoolers?

Fortunately, for all of our future parties I have found the perfect way to make my display attractive, safe and even good for the environment: the Eco-Cupcake Stands from Green Party Goods.

Created out of two-sided, sturdy corrugated cardboard, Eco-Cupcake Stands are fully reusable and completely recyclable while still looking stylish and fun. Considering the larger Stands are designed to hold up to 200 cupcakes (mmmm, that's a lot of cupcakes...) I thought the Mini Polka Dot Eco-Cupcake Stand would be the perfect thing for us. Not only is it smaller in size (it can hold 50+ cupcakes), but the cute, bright polka dots will go with any party decorations that we decide to use down the road.

Arriving in a thin flat box (similar to a pizza delivery box), I pulled out the five pieces to the Eco-Cupcake Stand and could already see that this was going to be extremely easy to construct, use and store.

The extent of putting together this Stand consisted of sliding the two base pieces together and then placing each tier down right on top, starting with the largest. Considering all of the pieces were decorated on both sides, there was no top or bottom and pretty much no way to assemble this incorrectly.

With the assembly completed (in about one minute), the only thing left to do was put on the finishing touches by covering the raw edges with colorful, coordinating ribbon. Using the Double Sided Tape that Green Party Goods included, I simply ran it along the edge, peeled off the paper and then covered it with ribbon.

In a total of maybe five minutes, we were ready for a celebration and Big Sister E, Little Sister B and I couldn't wait to try out our Eco-Cupcake Stand. As we didn't have a party to plan for, the girls supplied their play cupcakes and we stood back to admire the final look.

We tried stacking various real and pretend desserts, snacks, sandwiches and more on this Stand and it looked and performed great each time. The cardboard is thick and durable (no bending) and the light coating made it easy to wipe it off with a towel to stay clean. With the 4" distance between the three tiers, there was plenty of room for taller or shorter items without worry of them being squished in underneath.

When we were done, I slid the three tiers off the top, took apart the base and put the whole thing back in the original box. Storing this is so much easier and more convenient than having to wrap delicate pieces in tissue or newspaper and worry about them being broken. With Little Sister B's birthday coming up in a month, I know this will be ready and waiting to brighten up her party.
