At some point early on, Big Sister E decided that sweatpants were her thing. I can't say I completely blame her, seeing as I'm a big fan myself, but getting the girl into a skirt or dress is somewhere along the lines of impossible.

Fortunately for me, Little Sister B's fashion sense isn't all too particular. In fact, I could pull just about anything out of her closet and she'll happily strut her stuff, knowing full well how adorable she is.

But, even though I love the fact that I can dress her in a wide variety of things, I'm still extremely picky about her clothing. It's one thing for me to go out in public looking like a slob, but it's quite another for me to just waste cuteness like this in something grungy, right?

The first time I visited MilliLee Designs and was able to browse through the collections of handmade items, I was instantly impressed. From the simple baby accessories to the quality DyPeas Cloth Diapers to the beautiful girls' clothing, each piece has a classically stylish look to fit any personality and taste. There is even a full Organics section to allow you to go green but still enjoy the same high quality and good taste that these items display.

And, from the moment I pulled the Roses Patchwork Skirt arrived, I liked it even before I had it completely out of the brown paper packaging.

The soft, cotton patchwork fabric of this skirt is adorable, with each hexagonal section a different, complementing color and an unfinished secured edge (meaning it won't unravel) that adds to the overall look and appeal.

As I gave the elastic waistline a stretch, I could tell that this skirt was going to fit Little Sister B perfectly now but also allow her room to grow for the future. Because the print and colors work perfectly all year-round, I was already picturing a how cute (and comfortable) it was going to be in the spring and summer with various colors of t-shirts or tank tops.

With the fall-to-almost-winter weather here now though, all Little Sister B needed was a pair of tights and a sweater and she was fashionably ready to head out the door.

I've had the boots since Big Sister E was little but never had a chance to use them until now. I love the way they complement this skirt!

Little Sister B was so excited to spin and dance around in her Rose Patchwork Skirt and stood admiring it in between her twirls. Having been out in public with her multiple times in this outfit, the number of compliments she receives increases every time... and even Big Sister has been talking more about "looking pretty in skirts."
