Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar {Review & Digital Photo Frame Giveaway}

Every time I read suggestions for greener household cleaning, vinegar is always mentioned at least once or twice. What is it that makes it so popular? Well, due to the acidity, cleaning with vinegar is effective for killing things like mold, bacteria and germs but avoids the use of any harsh chemicals - just the combination that moms look for!

And let me tell you, my house sure could use a good cleaning. Fortunately, in an effort to harness the high-powered effectiveness that they're known for but in a green, environmentally responsible way, Windex has introduced me to Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar.

With the ability to gently clean almost every surface in your home to a streak-free shine, Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar is fast, easy and versatile. Considering it has no ammonia, there is also no harsh vinegar smell and instead you are left with a fresh scent and a clean, grime-free house.

When I read through the list of places that Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar works on, I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows. Countertops, glass, windows, appliances, fixtures, plastic, vinyl, stainless steel, ceramic, enamel... and that's not all.

The ability to clean virtually any surface in my home with one easy product? Well, that not only saves time but money as well. Now the only question was which location to try to first.

Deciding on the dusty, fingerprint-filled windows and the gross, food-encrusted microwave door, Windex Multi-Surface Vinegar sprayed on evenly and immediately had a clean, fresh scent.

With a quick wipe on the windows and a slight amount of scrubbing on the microwave door, both surfaces ended up sparkling clean in no time. Success! And in a way that is good for my family and for the environment - double success!
