Is it strange that although I have no plans for any future children that I still love to browse through nursery decor? There is something about crib bedding and matching furniture and the possibility of stylish yet cute rooms that are somehow just satisfying to see.

Although it's true that I'm not designing a nursery, when Distinctive Nurseries introduced me to smART quotes FOR KIDS, I immediately knew that these canvases would appeal to both children and adults as well as being a wonderful addition to any bedroom or playroom. And, when a beautifully wrapped package arrived, as soon as I opened it up I realized that I couldn't have been more right.

There are many reasons why I fell in love with the Dandelion Wish Canvas Wall Art, but the main two were, of course, the quality and the message.

First, the quality. This 12" x 12" heavyweight canvas is gallery-wrapped around a 1.5" deep wooden frame and is impeccably done. The colors are crisp and bright and the included saw-tooth hanger was covered upon arrival to prevent any damage. All I needed to do was decide on the location of where I wanted to display it and, as there was no glass, I didn't have to worry about putting it around kids.

Second, the image and the words itself are... inspiring. I love the idea of smART quotes encouraging and motivating children through a piece of hip, cool art. By taking notably famous quotes and displaying them in a modern, fun way, you not only have something that is eye-catching and beautiful to look at, but meaningful as well.

Because I wanted to make sure that everyone who visited our house got to see this great piece of art, I finally decided on standing it on a shelf in my daughters' playroom.

We've received numerous compliments and comments on the design and everyone has loved the Louisa May Alcott quote: We all have the power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing. I just hope as my girls get older that they'll recognize the encouragement and be a tiny bit inspired and motivated to push a little harder to make their own dreams come true.
