Right?
Not exactly. Now that I have two (crazy) kids of my own, it's a completely different understanding of there not being enough hours in the day to get things done and, by the time I do finally steal a moment to relax, I'm exhausted. Just lying there I can feel the tension in my shoulders and back (the last time I had a professional massage they confirmed that is where I "carry my stress") but what am I going to do about it?
Well, the answer to that is head over and have a peaceful, calming break lying on my Lotus Healing Mat.

Being that needles ARE NOT my friend, you couldn't get me within 100 miles of an acupuncture appointment. However, the idea of acupressure has always intrigued me and the thought of just pressing on key points and having so many benefits come from it sure does sound nice. Therefore, I was pretty interested in seeing how a Lotus Healing Mat would be able to provide this type of relaxing experience.

Covered with hundreds of specifically-placed spiked disks resembling the lotus flower, they add up to 6,000 therapeutic contact points that, according to Lotus Healing Mat, improve blood and energy flow. Just by laying across the mat, each disk will help stimulate your nerve endings and encourage the release of endorphins, the body's natural anti-stress and anti-pain hormone.
Checking from the side, I thought that, other than the sharp spikes, the Lotus Healing Mat looked awfully comfortable. The foam was

Nothing. Realizing that my sweatshirt had completely negated the effects, I changed into a thin tank top and slowly tried again. This time, I could feel the pressure but it wasn't a painful feeling, it was more of an all-over sensation that I really didn't think hurt (my husband tried it and wasn't a fan though, particularly on his neck).
But for me, I have enjoyed pulling out the Lotus Healing Mat ever since that first attempt and rolling it out in hopes of a little tranquility in my life. Whether or not it is the innovative form of acupressure that leads me to feeling re-energized and revitalized after or just because I've taken 15 minutes to focus on being calm and relaxing, I'm not sure. Either way, I enjoy it and feel better and that's all that matters.
Plus, with the convenient way that the covers to the Lotus Healing Mat and Neck Relief Pillow are removable and washable, this can be used after a workout or by multiple people and be easily kept clean.

(Other than the Lotus Healing Mat and Neck Relief Pillow that I was sent, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my opinion of this company and their products.)

Pretty interesting, I think I'd be scared at first lol. I keep saying I'm going to take some time out for relaxation, but it still hasn't happened...one day(like when the kids are out of the home)haha!
