Checking Our List: Remington Limited Edition Mini Dryer {Review}

When it comes to the holidays, getting together with family and friends is such a highlight for so many people. However, with loved ones often living across the country (or the world), that means traveling... whether by air or on the ground.

Personally, I'm a last-minute packer and just can never bring myself to put things into a bag too far in advance of a trip... which usually leads to something being forgotten or me standing there looking at my full size bottles of shampoo thinking about the old days when they could have made it through airline security with me.

In the future though, one thing that I'm not going to have to worry about is what will happen when, after reaching my destination, it's time to style my hair. Instead of having to bother my host for a hair dryer (or go without one), I know that I will be able to pull out my stylish and convenient Limited Edition Mini Dryer from Remington.

As soon as it arrived, I was excited about the bright colors and the cute print (I don't think I've ever called a hair dryer "cute" before) and pulled it right out of the box to give it a try.

The first thing I noticed (after the aforementioned cuteness, of course) was that the 3.375" x 5.5" x 9.5" is not only perfect for traveling, but fits nicely right into your hand. Where a full size hair dryer can sometimes feel bulky and make my arm tired from holding it up, this mini dryer is small and compact with a slightly curved handle that feels comfortable the whole time you're using it.

I appreciate that there are two heat/speed settings to give you more of a choice than just on or off and that the power switch is conveniently located right on the handle. Even better (and something that I have never seen with a travel hair dryer before) is that Remington includes a Concentrator that easily screws right on the end to give you even more control over the 1000 watts of power that this small device holds.

With the convenience, power and all-around good looks of this mini dryer, this Limited Edition gadget would make a great stocking stuffer for any woman that travels for business or pleasure. Or it would be a stylish way to save space in a small apartment to use as an everyday hair dryer!
