Happy Me Skincare {Review & Giveaway}

Sometimes I wish I was one of those people that took really good care of their skin. I mean, I know I should and someday I'm sure I'll regret not having followed a stricter routine and tried all the fancy products that are out there that cost an arm and a leg and promise to keep away the wrinkles and the spots and...

For now, I just want clear, clean skin. I'm not asking for anything fancy (mainly because I wouldn't pay $75 for a tiny tube of something) that claims to work miracles, I just want natural ingredients that lead to beautiful skin.

Which, now I know, isn't too much to ask thanks to Happy Me Skincare.

But, wanting to provide more than just the confidence that comes along with amazing skin (although who wouldn't want that?), Happy Me is not only good for you and your smooth, well-moisturized face, they also don't do any testing on animals. So while you're feeling proud of the way that you look, you can rest assured that there weren't any four-legged friends harmed in the creation of your products.

And, speaking of the products, the way that they feel, smell and perform shows that it really is possible to use something natural, paraben-free, sulfate-free and animal-cruelty free and still love the results.

First up, the Natural Acne Corrective System.

This three-step system lasts 60 days and is designed to correct acne pretty much instantly. By using the Natural Acne Wash and Natural Acne Healing Moisturizer every morning and night, it helps to neutralize and protect your skin while exfoliating and nourishing it. The Moisturizer even has an SPF 15 for a little added protection from sun exposure.

The first thing I noticed when beginning this routine was the smell of both of these products. In the past when I've used products to cleanse my skin they had a medicated scent, but these are like an aromatherapy wake-up for my senses - in a good way. The combination of things like Rosemary and Lavender were a surprise at first but have led to me taking deep breaths every morning and night when I clean my face.

Just using the Wash and the Moisturizer were making my skin feel great that I actually haven't tried the third step in the system, the Skin Support Dietary Supplement. I'm pretty sure that there are supplement people and non-supplement people in the world and I happen to fall into the latter category.

It does sound like a great addition to the first two steps, as the nutrients in these tablets are designed to work from the inside out to provide a healthy balance for your skin. If you are a supplement person, then these are made to help rid your skin of bacteria and excess oil production - and who wouldn't want that?

However, I have tried the final member of the Natural Acne Corrective System, the Overnight Pimple Eliminator, and I have been impressed with what a dab of something that looks like White Out can do on my face!

The combination of the Sulfur and Zinc Oxide in this tiny bottle are to not only begin to destroy pimples on contact, but to actually penetrate deep to stop acne at the core. Just a tiny spot of this on a pimple before going to bed and in the morning the redness is gone. It's a mini bottle of magic!

As well as working on your complexion, Happy Me Skincare has a line of anti-aging products that I've been enjoying just as much.

Either I'm lucky to be doing an okay job of aging... or I'm just really not noticing the lines and wrinkles. Whichever way happens to be true, I found that I liked both the Neck & Chest Repair SPF 30 and the Hand Repair SPF 30 right away because they have the same great scent as Happy Me's acne products.

And not only do they smell good, but the creamy smooth texture of both feels so soft and silky on my skin that, along with the SPF 30, why would I stop using them? With the cold, dry air wreaking havoc around here this winter, it has been great to have go-to lotions that bring relief as well as help smooth wrinkles and lift fine lines. Even if I haven't noticed a huge change in my "youthful glow," I am still loving the way that my skin feels.

But, out of all of the Happy Me Skincare products that arrived, my ultimate favorite is the Pore & Fine Line Perfector and Primer.

I've heard of products providing a "liquid powder finish" before, but never really understood how something could feel both liquid and powder. But now I get it! This primer goes on extremely smooth and creates an even texture to my skin while minimizing my pores and giving an overall flawless skin appearance.

Plus, having it as a base before applying foundation has helped keep away shine and made my skin feel tighter and with less imperfections. And, of course, it has that great smell that I love from Happy Me and this time it is literally right under my nose so that I can catch the faintest hint of it for quite a while after I've applied.

In the end, I think that Happy Me Skincare makes great products! I really like the way that my skin feels hydrated and smooth after applying and how that stays with me for hours afterward. Plus, I'm not getting any younger, so if the combination of these natural ingredients can keep away the lines, spots and wrinkles for a little longer, then even better!
