Unsurprisingly, I spend a decent amount of time on the internet around here.
You're shocked. I know.
Therefore, my connection needs to be reliable and times when it cuts out or malfunctions can really put a wrinkle in my day. And when did that seem to be happening an awful lot? Every time the phone rang.
Considering we have the same company that covers our phone, cable, and internet, I assumed that there was a crossed wire or something... but whatever it was, it had to be fixed. Calling in a repairman, he was in our house for all of about 15 seconds before diagnosing the entire problem as our old cordless phone.
As it had already been giving us problems of its own cutting out when I was talking to people, this was the last straw that I needed to know that the phone had outlived its welcome and needed to be replaced with something high quality, easy to use, and interference-free. All of which I immediately found with the VTech LS6325-3 Three Handset Expandable Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering System and Caller ID.
As one of the world’s largest suppliers of corded and cordless telephones and electronic learning products, VTech designs and manufactures high quality products that span across the globe. Founded in 1976, they offer phones that are stylish, technologically-advanced, loaded with features, and at a wide range of prices to fit your budget.
And when it comes to features, I couldn't have asked for any more than what come with the LS6325-3. Designed to help you stay connected with friends and family around town, across the country, or even within the same house, this isn't only an efficient telephone, it's a virtual walkie-talkie.
After hearing that, I was definitely eager to check out just what this phone could do.
Right out of the box and I could already see that there wasn't much to do in order to get the LS6325-3 up and running.
Expandable up to five handsets using only one phone jack, the LS6325-3 comes with the main base (containing the digital answering system) and two additional handsets. Simply connect the included batteries in each one, connect the base into your phone line and plug in each of the three and you're set to go.
VTech even includes a clear Quick Start Guide that lists the main few steps to follow so that you can be talking on your new phone in no time.
These sleek, slim, and stylish phones have made life easier from that initial setup and we haven't looked back once.
The 100 name and number caller ID memory is extremely handy for receiving and storing calls and the fact that there are no tapes or moving parts in the answering system means that there is less of a likelihood of us missing a message.
The base sits nicely on a counter or table, as well as coming with a wall mount bracket for an easy way to have the entire thing up and out of the way.
I'm not even sure we've tried out all of the features that the LS6325-3 can do, as we've been so busy enjoying the crystal clear sound quality, security and range (thanks to the DECT 6.0 Digital technology), hands-free conversations that the whole family can be involved in due to the excellent speakerphone, and the paging feature that helps us find where we last put down one of the handsets.
Most of all, though? My days of the telephone causing interference with the internet or just plain cutting out while I'm talking are over (and I don't miss them). I haven't had a single problem with reception and being able to move the single handsets to any room of the house, no matter if there is a phone line or not, is extremely convenient.
As well as being a great size and easy to hold, the Push-to-Talk intercom between the handsets is a fun addition that I'm sure we will use as the girls get older even more. Instead of yelling up the stairs or calling out over and over, simply push a button and you have an instant intercom for quick access to family members.
I think we have yet to come up with any features that the VTech LS6325-3 Cordless Phone System is missing. It is simple, easy to use, high quality, and durable and has allowed us to never worry about missing a call, losing a message, or dropping off while talking. With the ability to expand up to five handsets, you really can customize this to fit your house and family just as needed.
Retailing for $79.95 from VTech (and even less on Amazon), the only thing left for this telephone to do is stop telemarketers from calling me. Is that in the manual somewhere?
(Other than the LS6325-3 Cordless Phone System that I received from VTech in order to facilitate my review, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my opinion of this company and this product.)
