I've written about weight loss before - quite a few times, actually - and, up until my recent success with Nutrisystem, I really have never been able to actually find anything that has worked for me. I'm just not someone who has the willpower or determination to make the healthy choices that I need to make on my own, I guess.
However, even after having lost more than 20 pounds in the last five months, I like what I see in the mirror... to an extent. There may be pounds missing, but that doesn't mean that the muscles or the tone are there in its place and that the results of having two children have magically disappeared on their own.
I know that what I need to do is put in the time to exercise and focus on strengthening my body... but where is that time going to come from? I make it to the gym whenever I can, but it seems like the days are getting shorter and shorter lately and finding a few free hours to make it there just doesn't happen like it should.
Seeing as the only remaining option seemed to be exercising in the middle of the night, I was pretty much ready to just stick with the weight loss and not worry about the exercise... until I was introduced to 20 Second Fitness.
Just the name caught my attention - what? Did you say 20 seconds? Okay, so it's not actually 20 seconds of working out (darn), but it is 20 second intervals that add up to only about 4 - 12 minutes a day... and who doesn't have that? Even I can find 8 minutes somewhere.
The program guarantees that you'll see quick results and that it works for all fitness levels, so I'm looking forward to getting started. It came complete with 40 workouts on six DVDs, a set of gym-quality resistance bands, a jump rope, a food guide to smarter eating, and even a wall calendar to track my progress and success.
I love how easy everything is laid out and the wall calendar is exactly what I need to visually see just which DVD to pop in for each day. When it comes to following a list or chart, I am one of those people that loves being able to check off each item as it is completed and that is exactly what I can do with this calendar.
Today is Day 1 for me and I'm motivated already after having looked over everything and from a few emails that I've received from 20 Second Fitness host Spencer Larson. I'll be watching my first installment tonight (it's only 4 minutes!) and, as the weeks go on, updating on how things are going. There are multiple other bloggers participating in this program as well, so you'll be able to follow along with all of us!
So, here goes. As my main excuse has always been a lack of time, 20 Second Fitness has all but eliminated that. A few months from now I hope to be lean and trim and loving it!
For more information about 20 Second Fitness or to place an order (it retails for one payment of $99.99 or three payments of $39.99), visit their website or check them out on Facebook and Twitter. Other than the 20 Second Fitness program that I was sent, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. All thoughts, opinions and results expressed are completely and honestly mine; your experience or feelings may differ.

That does sound interesting! I have got to get back exercising.
Thats EXACTLY what i need! Time is the main issue for me too, but 10 min a day would be great option.
You already know my thoughts on your situation LOL. :) But being firm and trim is awesome. I need to lose a cow. :P
Goooood luck! I need to start today on mine.
