Recently Big Sister E's preschool had optional vision screenings available and, after one look at the permission form, I signed her up. Considering how dependent my husband and I are on our glasses and contact lenses, I figure it is only a matter of time before our children are going to be squinting to see things clearly.
And, with the huge array of styles, colors and overall coolness of glasses these days, when that time comes, I know that we'll spend time shopping for something that has become a hip, trendy, fashionable accessory for all ages.
The only problem? The price tag. The prescription eyeglasses in the stores or at the doctor's office aren't cheap, so the thought of buying them for children or having more than one pair for myself isn't something that's as often considered as, say, purchasing a new scarf.
Which is why finding glasses online makes so much more sense... selection, style, delivery right to your door and, best of all, huge savings! And it's all there at Zenni Optical.
By selling stylish glasses for men, women and children starting at $6.95 right from the comfort of your computer, Zenni has truly changed the way that we shop for eyewear. Whether you're looking for a new pair of glasses to complement your wardrobe or replace older ones that are broken, not your current prescription or just out-of-date, Zenni makes the process fast, fun and easy.
Narrowing down the wide selection that they offer is simple with options to limit the frames shown by gender, type, style, shape, color and more. Once you've found a few that you like, the large pictures, concise description and various dimensions make it easy to see if they will fit your look.
Even better, the Zenni Frame Fit gives you the option to "try on" your selection on one of the various models that they have available to get a feel for how they would look when worn. Now there's no guessing as to if you'll love your new glasses when they arrive!
Prescription eyeglasses are both a health necessity as well as a fashion item, so being able to express yourself through a high quality, durable product at such reasonable prices is something that we can all appreciate. The only question left is: why pay more? Big Sister E passed her test with flying colors this time, but who knows what the future will bring!
Have you bought eyeglasses online? How was your experience?

I've been buying my glasses from Zenni Optical for years! They are cheap enough that I don't have to worry about my son accidentally breaking them or about losing a pair (which seems to happen regularly). I love that I can have a pair of glasses, a backup pair, and sunglasses all for less than I would pay for one pair of glasses from the optometrists. They ship quickly and I've never had a bad experience with them.
I have probably at least 10 pairs of Zenni glasses and one or two from other online retailers. Combined with my glasses purchased from regular brick and mortar stores, I must have at least 20 pairs of glasses.
I keep coming back to zenni. I just ordered a new pair and a pair of prescription sunglasses for the summer.
