Fun in the Sun #16: Coleman Repellents {Review & Summer Prize Pack Giveaway}

When it comes to summertime, it's easy to focus on the positives: sunshine, vacations, swimming pools, barbecues, etc.

However, that doesn't mean that all of the long-awaited time outdoors doesn't come with a few negatives as well. Mainly: bugs. In my opinion, other than bad weather there isn't much that can ruin a nice afternoon outside quicker than bugs... and they're much more annoying than some rain.

With rain, you get wet and you laugh about it or you shrug and go inside. With bugs, you just continue to try to sit and relax or enjoy playing yard games, all the while swatting at your arms to keep from being bit or brushing away the buzzing sound from your ear. What a hassle!

Trying this repellent out for the first time in our yard, I was pleased to find that the rust resistant can was able to be sprayed at any angle and, after I had applied it all over, suddenly I wasn't feeling so bothered anymore. Instead of trying to watch my kids play while constantly twitching and swatting, I was able to sit back and relax!

This spray is even proven effective against mosquitoes and ticks for up to 8 hours, so whether we are hanging out on the deck for a little while or heading out to explore the great outdoors for a full day, we'll be covered!
