Focus on how you FEEL - NOT on what the scale says! Really. If the scale is mean, you'll eat less, you'll get hungry, and you'll eat more. This is a long-term project. You need to stop focusing on each and every pound

Fast food can be a real downfall to a diet..when I eat out, I will take 1/2 the bun off a hamburger, or 1/2 the bread off a sandwich..cut down the carbs where you can to lose weight and inches.

I try to eat as slow as is reasonable because I do not eat as much. Also drinking a full glass of water right before a large meal helps me fill up faster.

Best weight loss tip is to cut bad habits a little bit at a time.. start with cutting out soda... then start eating non-enriched starches like whole wheat breads, pastas, brown rice, etc... Being healthy doesn't happen overnight-- must have the will and patience to work on it day by day.
