Keep Warm with Hatley Fleece and Thermal {Review & Giveaway}

Although we've had some ups and downs with the weather around here, it's time to finally admit that fall is truly here.

After pulling out all of the shorts and tank tops to pack away for the distant future, it is time to look at what is going to keep us warm and comfortable all winter long. And let's not forget about fashionable, right?

I'm always looking for a way to infuse a little style and personality into the otherwise cute-but-generic articles of clothing that are found in the store for kids. So even though we need pieces that are made for warmth, it's not impossible to find outfits that are colorful, fun, fit well, and allow kids to play and live like kids.

To find all that, I always know that I don't have to look any further than the high quality and great designs at Hatley.

Founded over 20 years ago by a talented husband and wife team selling aprons, today Hatley is run by their three sons and is sold around the world. The success of their colorful and fun aprons led to clothing and gifts and with the growing popularity, Hatley now offers apparel for the entire family and items for multiple rooms of the house. You just can't go wrong with their great designs!

When it comes to children's clothing, Hatley reigns supreme in terms of well-made, creative, adorable options. I always enjoy browsing through the girls' play sets and the bright girls' rain gear, as I know that my kids would love not only how comfortable they are, but the amusing patterns that Hatley offers. With everything from dresses to shorts to socks, the colors and prints are right in tune with what a child would enjoy.

And when the Pink Labs Kids' Fleece Zip-Up Jacket (no longer available, but there are other great girls' jackets!) arrived, both girls' eyes lit up at the cheery pink color and the cute dogs covering every inch.

This jacket is just as cute as I had thought it would be and the durable, well-made aspects to it ensure that it will last for quite a few seasons to come! From the first touch, the cozy fleece feels soft and comfortable and the contrast stitching is the perfect accent to the blush pink and happy Labradors.

I really like the set-in seams and the stylish look that they give to the front and back of this jacket, not to mention the way that they can easily hold up to being stretched and pulled by active kids.

I have always appreciated that Hatley's items are quite true-to-size and this fleece jacket is no exception. This size 5 fits well and is plenty long enough for my 5-year-old...

...while my almost-3-year-old isn't swimming in it too much either.

Now the only problem is figuring out who gets to wear it this fall! Both girls like the kanga pockets on the front for putting their hands (or small goodies) in, and I appreciate the ease of wear that this jacket provides with the mock neck and front zipper.

If pink isn't your thing, Hatley definitely hasn't forgotten about boys as well. There are four boys' hoodies and jackets available that would be great for going from the park to a play date and out to lunch while looking adorably handsome and staying warm. There are even Hatley infant hoodies... and you haven't seen anything cuter than these miniature versions, complete with all the details and trimmings.
