Anamalz Wooden Animals Box Sets {Review & Giveaway}

Oftentimes when we're introduced to a new company or brand, I'm not certain how much my kids will truly enjoy it. After all, not everything can be a hit, can it?

In the case of meeting anamalz this past summer, however, I never really had any doubts. Considering how much my kids love animals, I knew that these eco-friendly, wooden, poseable, adorable little creatures would provide fun, creativity, and entertainment for quite some time. Who can resist something this cute?

Designed in Australia, these award-winning, handcrafted wooden toys are made from sustainable maple wood and feature fabric accents, giving them the ability to be bent into a variety of poses while looking just so darn friendly. Whether twisting them into traditional animal positions or something a little more "unique," there isn't a limit on how much fun kids can have!

Knowing that Big Sister E and Little Sister B were going to be thrilled to add a few new eco-friendly figurines to their jungle, when the Prehistoric Box Set arrived, they were clamoring for me to open it and release the new anamalz.

The new anamalz Box Sets are such a great idea, as you're able to start your child off (or add to a collection) with multiple friends as well as a fun tree in the Prehistoric and Wild Box Sets. As soon as we had each piece freed from the box, I had a moment to admire just how high quality and cute these truly are...

...as well as to marvel at the small details that anamalz has included in each of their wooden pals. How can kids (and adults) not love that the Parasaur is smiling at them?

As the T-Rex, Parasaur and Wild Tree joined our gang and the kids traded the anamalz back and forth, I noticed (for probably the hundredth time) how much more they enjoy these than traditional, non-moving figures. The wood/fabric design not only stands out with the hand-painted (with child-friendly water-based paint) faces, but they're just so much more endearing and sweet than something plastic and generic.

The anamalz went swimming...

...had a snack...

...and had a meeting to be sure that everyone had met the new friends. Just another peaceful day in our anamalz kingdom!
