Kellogg's FiberPlus Cereal and Bars {Review & Giveaway - 5 winners!}

If your doctor were to tell you that you needed to include more fiber in your diet, you would cringe, wouldn't you? And the images that would come to mind would be something like figs or oat bran or split peas or something, right? Because unless you're gagging down a fiber supplement, the foods that provide it just can't be good...

Right?

Knowing that the average adult needs 25-38 grams of fiber a day but only one in 10 adults get enough, I was looking forward to trying out a variety of these products to not only see how much I liked them, but the verdict that my family would give as well.

When it came to trying the cereals, I knew that I could count on my kids to provide an honest taste-test. After all, they're very particular about their cereals and will clearly let me know if they don't like one - not to mention never asking for it again.

With the Kellogg's FiberPlus, I pulled out the Berry Yogurt Crunch Cereal one morning and the box was completely empty within days.

I had to sneak a handful of the whole-grain wheat and rice flakes mixed with the crunchy berry- and yogurt-flavored clusters so that I even had a taste!

The kids ended up HUGE fans of both cereals but the Berry Yogurt Crunch won out as a slight favorite simply because they thought the addition of the clusters was a lot of fun. However, the box of Caramel Pecan Crunch disappeared nearly as quickly!

I'm thrilled that my kids love the flavors so much and having the addition of the fiber, whole grains, antioxidant vitamins C and E, and more is a BIG bonus.
