Holiday Gift Guide: Tea Collection Holiday Clothing {Review & $100 Gift Certificate Giveaway}

Once upon a time, I thought all children's clothing was created equal.

Sure, there were different colors and a variety of styles and it did seem that some brands looked better than others after five washings, but eh, it was basically all the same. Right?

Oh, Former Self, what were you thinking?

Although really, I know what I was thinking and I can't completely blame me. The problem lay in the fact that I hadn't yet been introduced to the perfect combination of high quality, fashionable look, and beautifully unique styles found from Tea Collection.

With everything from adorable baby clothes to the cutest dresses, tops and bottoms for girls to rugged-but-hip boy's clothing, Tea Collection apparel just that has special something that is sure to turn heads.

As their clothing is based off of the beauty that is discovered from traveling and experiencing cultures from across the globe, Tea products are not only distinctive and beautiful, but can fit right into the lifestyle of the "little citizens of the world" for which they are designed. So when it comes to selecting just the right pieces for the upcoming season, I couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather look than their adorable Kids' Holiday Collection.

Full of bold prints, bright lines, and tons of color, there's no way to not be in the mood to party once these items are around. And when a selection of holiday apparel showed up for Big Sister E and Little Sister B, they were instantly excited about getting into that party spirit.

Little Sister B received the Piñata Stripe Party Dress, Dreamer Stripe Pajamas, Wildflower Banded Dress, and Skinny Stripe Leggings and I could barely get the clothes away from her before she was attempting to put all four items on at once.

Inspired by all the great woven blankets found in Mexico, the Piñata Stripe Party Dress (retail price $95) is 100% cotton, machine washable and utterly amazing. The colors! The folds on the bodice! The pleats at the waist! The matching sash! The full lining!

We were just slightly excited about the way that this dress is a combination of formal, casual, comfortable and beyond adorable. It's just so bright and fun that I can't wait for every holiday party that we're going to attend this season to hear the compliments!

For a more casual look, the Wildflower Banded Dress (retail price $35) and the Skinny Stripe Leggings ($25) are also eye-catching and unique and I know that they will be worn time and time again.

With the colorful wildflowers and dolman style sleeves, this printed jersey dress has the added bonus that it doesn't look like every other girls' dresses out there... and the high quality and flexibility of use of the leggings ensures that they will be worn for many years to come. I love the cute stripes!

When it comes to pajamas, we're often found wearing them long after nighttime is over around here. Which means that they have to be very soft, extremely comfortable, and well-made so that they'll stand up to repeated washings... all qualities that describe the Dreamer Stripe Pajamas ($39) perfectly.

From the cute stripes to the slim fitting combed 100% cotton, Tea even thought to include extra length in the top so that it wouldn't creep up and leave a certain someone's tummy exposed to the cool nighttime air. I have barely been able to get them off of Little Sister B since they arrived!

Not to be outdone in terms of adorable pj's, however, Big Sister E has spent just as much time loving the Happy Hummingbird Pajamas (retail price $39) and has pointed out multiple times that, "they're so nice and comfy!"

My only regret is that Tea Collection hasn't come out with adult pajamas yet, because I can picture my whole family hanging out in these over the holidays! Music in the background, cup of hot chocolate in hand... what more could we need?

As well as her adorable pajamas, Big Sister E is also ready for the holiday season with the Villa Flores Party Dress, Wildflower Wrap Dress, and Skinny Pointelle Leggings.

Big Sister E's eyes lit up when she saw the Villa Flores Party Dress ($65) and I couldn't blame her - it's so cute! The richness of the twilight blue, the embroidered detailing along the top, the tiny ruffles on the bodice and sleeves that match with the pleats... this dress has it all.

It is fully lined for quality and comfort and as well as all of the great detailing along the top, it has the unique addition of hitting above the knee in the front and below the knee in the back. Just another way that Tea has added their signature touch to make their clothing turn heads!

The Wildflower Wrap Dress ($30) and Skinny Pointelle Leggings ($25) are so stylish and fun that I can't help but smile when I see Big Sister E so happy in them. The long-sleeve wrap-neck banded design is one of Tea's signature styles and I've always thought it has a way of looking mature but still very young at heart.

Adding in the delicate stitching of the leggings (perfect for layering with just about any long top or dress!) and this is one versatile outfit that is going to be pulled out for as long as Big Sister E fits in it... and then again for Little Sister B in upcoming years!

If it isn't already pretty obvious, I love Tea Collection.

Everything from the extra details and small touches that they include to the ability to wear their clothing to just about any occasion and look great is something that I have always appreciated. Their clothing is modern, colorful, high quality, unique and age appropriate for sizes 0-12 (their women's clothing is equally as gorgeous!) and every season that they include new patterns and styles makes me fall in love with their clothing even a little bit more.
