When it comes to footwear, I just might own a few more pairs of shoes than I need.

A handful, maybe.

Okay, two handfuls.

Fine, they're spread into multiple closets as well as under the bed. I can't help it!

My husband, on the other hand, is much more practical. Although there have been a few instances where he'll start browsing and I'll remind him that he already owns shoes similar to what he's looking at, mostly he sticks with being logical and rational and all that.

After running my hand along the Nubuck leather, I reached inside and was immediately jealous that my boots don't have such a soft fleece lining. Not only does it work perfectly with the cushioned insole, but the extra warmth and comfort is just the thing to pamper a man's foot - whether he spends all day standing or only 10 minutes at a time.

To ensure the outside of the Brigade is as nice as the inside, the durable rubber outsole is extremely thick and I appreciate that it provides support as well as good traction for when my husband is out on the snow and ice.
