Pillsbury Disney Ready to Bake! Shape Cookies {Review & Giveaway}

As a child, you just don't realize the amount of work that your parents put in to ensure that holidays are special.

For Christmas, moms and dads everywhere already have to do the usual amount of cooking, cleaning, shopping, wrapping, traveling and more, but then they also have to do all the added secretive Santa Claus duties, right?

For Easter, how many of you parents out there already had a full plate of responsibilities but then also added on things like filling and hiding eggs or putting together a fun Easter basket? It would have been nice if there really was a bunny to do some of the jobs, wouldn't it?

When a Pillsbury Ready to Bake! Prize Pack arrived at our door, it was just the thing to provide some quick, easy, tasty entertainment to our Easter preparations.

Unfortunately it didn't end up being quite so easy to have these cookies hop off the shelf and into our oven in time for Easter, as they were difficult to locate anywhere near us. Thanks to the Pillsbury product locator, we finally tracked down a package of the Disney/Pixar Cars Ready to Bake! Shape Cookies, but it took extra time before we were well over on the other side of the city to pick them up.

Once we had the cookies home, however, then the quick convenience of these packages was evident... not to mention just how cute these cookies are, thanks to their Disney designs.

Pillsbury Ready to Bake! Shape Cookies are ready to enjoy in 8-10 minutes and both of the girls were thrilled to be able to help lay them out onto the pan in preparation. When we pulled them out of the oven, their eyes lit up at seeing Lightning McQueen baked right into each one.

These were such a fun way to conclude our Easter celebration that I'm sure we will be trying out many more of the Pillsbury Ready to Bake! Shape Cookies for upcoming holidays. From Mother's Day to Halloween to St. Patrick's Day (and everything in between), these are just such a cute way to have an easy and colorful treat.
