Let Energizer save you money with the Utility Cash Program {Energizer Max AA Batteries Giveaway}

When it comes to the companies that are known for making a differences, one of the first names I think of is Energizer.

While most people hear Energizer and immediately think of batteries, those are only one aspect of this company that can be found in more than 160 countries across the globe. In fact, Energizer has spent decades supporting organizations helping to make a positive impact in local communities and around the world.

This spring as part of the Energizer campaign — that’s positivenergy — they're "building" on that commitment in a new way through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Working with baseball legend and philanthropist Cal Ripken, Jr., Energizer is donating more than $300,000 and 1,000 volunteer hours to Habitat through a multi-city series of volunteer projects to help build new homes and revitalize existing homes for those in need.

Cal Ripkin Habitat for Humanity

A donation of $300,000 and 1,000 volunteer hours? That's not too shabby, Energizer!

But they haven't stopped there — beyond helping Habitat for Humanity, Energizer wants to help all of us as well! With the rising cost of utilities, we can all use a little bit of assistance, especially if you live in a climate that will have a really hot summer.

In addition to the series of volunteer projects, you will see the Energizer and Habitat for Humanity partnership coming to the shelves of your favorite stores. Through the Energizer Utility Cash program, you can collect codes from select Energizer battery and lighting products and redeem them online for savings, up to $25 total savings each per person/household/email address, off of your utility bill (or you can help make a positive impact and choose to turn the codes into a donation to Habitat for Humanity).

Finding the specially marked packages of Energizer batteries is easy, as you simply keep an eye out for the bright yellow label letting you know that you can help save money!

Energizer batteries

Once you've purchased your batteries, the steps to submitting your info are also just as easy:
  1. Once you are finished collecting your codes, visit www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/utilities to enter your codes.
  2. You must enter your codes all at once.
  3. The last day to redeem codes is 3/31/13 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
You start earning rewards with just two codes and will need 10 codes total to earn the full $25.

Energizer bunny

This spring and summer (and beyond), keep an eye out for your favorite Energizer batteries to not only provide long-lasting performance for your gadgets and devices, but to save you money as well. It's a win-win situation!

And, thanks to the generosity of Energizer, one person will be on their way to spending less on their utility bill as well, because...

One lucky person will win two specially marked packages of
Energizer Max AA batteries with special codes!

(Enter with the Rafflecopter form below. If you have any questions or problems entering, there is a video tutorial found here that can help.)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

A big thank you to Energizer for providing two packs of Energizer Max AA batteries for me as well as for one lucky giveaway winner. The opinions shared are my own and honest and if you really need to see more, click here to see how I roll.

Our house is set up nicely for passive solar heating/cooling (Big leafy trees to the South windows.) so we heat a lot that way in early and late winter. We burn wood from our yard to supplement the heating, and always turn out lights we're not using.

We live in the dark! LOL We just don't turn on anymore lights than we need at the moment! We unplug anything that doesn't need to be plugged in, such as the fridge, etc. Other things, you can unplug for the most part. Anything with little lights going even when turned off, are sucking electicity. There are nice websites with devices you can buy to meter this consumption.
