The music, the tricks, the dunking of the basketball, the spinning of the ball on their fingertip, the cheering and the laughter... no wonder the Globetrotters have played in more than 25,000 games for everyone from Presidents to Popes!
For the first time, however, children have the opportunity to do more than simply watch the Harlem Globetrotters in awe, as they can get in on the action themselves! Starting this June, the Globetrotters will be conducting summer skills clinics to bring boys and girls ages 6-14 behind the curtain to see the Globetrotters' electrifying skills and tricks, while also having fun staying active.
Taking place in 24 Hour Fitness Clubs in nine states over a 10-week period this summer, the innovative clinics will focus on drills for the fundamentals (shooting, dribbling and passing), scrimmages and games with the stars, and more. Kids will even have the chance to create their own signature move, perform a Magic Circle on court and receive their own personalized Harlem Globetrotters nickname!
These 3-hour clinics will take place in the following cities: Phoenix, Houston, San Francisco, New Jersey, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, St. Louis, Miami and Las Vegas (a full list of dates and locations can be found here).
As well as the exercise, enjoyment and amazing memories that each participant will receive from attending one of these clinics, there are even more bonuses as well:
- A complimentary ticket voucher (valued up to $40) to see the Globetrotters during their 2013 World Tour
- A free 3-day trial pass to 24 Hour Fitness for mom or dad
- Autographs and photos with the stars
The cost for participation is typically $59 (remember that this includes a $40 ticket voucher to an upcoming game!) but right now you can save $10! Simply enter the coupon code USFAMILY on the cart page after completing your registration or mention it when calling 1-800-641-HOOP (4667) to take advantage of this special offer.

I am receiving passes for my family to attend a Harlem Globetrotters game in 2013 in exchange for sharing this information, but all thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.
