Before I had children, if someone told me that there were nights that they dropped into bed without even washing their face, I would have been completely baffled.
How is it possible to be that tired? What do you mean you were so exhausted you were falling asleep before your head was even on the pillow? And how is it possible that you don't have the time to get a facial or visit a dermatologist if your skin needs it?
Right.
With two kids of my own, I now know full well that once kids enter the picture, topics such as clear skin drop down pretty far on the list of importance. There just simply isn't time to drop everything and go get pampered without having to turn it into a big ordeal with the scheduling and childcare involved. Instead, we opt for regular store-bought cleansers and cleaners and just hope that as our skin ages it outgrows any lasting imperfections.
Fortunately, the technology offered by Tria and their Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light suddenly gives busy adults everywhere the opportunity to simulate a dermatologist treatment right in the comfort of their own homes.
Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light is a revolutionary, non UV-light, FDA-cleared, hand-held device that delivers the same gentle, therapeutic power of blue light acne treatment used by dermatologists to treat breakouts deep within the skin. Having heard of laser treatment for acne before, the idea that Tria could eliminate bacteria at the source, deep within the skin, without harshness or irritation immediately had me interested.
After all, even with how busy my life can feel, I knew that I would be able to find five minutes per day (either at once or for two sessions twice per day of 2.5 minutes) to work on achieving a clear complexion. While I don't suffer from a tremendous amount of breakouts (thank goodness), if adding blue light therapy to my routine could prevent clogged pores, blemishes, pimples and breakouts, and reveal clearer, smoother, healthier skin... then I'm ready to give it a shot!
My current skin care routine isn't all that much of a routine (I wash it once in the morning and once at night), so I'm excited to add Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light and see if this acne light treatment can prove that blue light is what has been missing.
After all, in clinical studies with this device, consumers saw 70% acne reduction in just two weeks, 93% noticed a smoother complexion in four weeks and 100% said skin looked healthier and more radiant in four weeks. I'm hoping that four weeks from now I will be counted among those that are raving about Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light!
To find out more about Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light or to make a purchase of your own, visit TriaBeauty.com, where it retails for $245 (which includes the Skin Perfecting Blue Light, the Skin Perfecting Blue Light Treatment cartridge —good for use to 300 minutes— and a battery charger). I'll be checking back in four weeks with my results!
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Tria and received a Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light product sample to facilitate my review.

I'm really interested in this. I've never had a huge problem with acne (just a few minor break outs here and there) but the second I turned 25, all of a sudden my face has lots of acne. I've tried so many different products and nothing has helped so far! I will have to look into this and see if it could help me!
This looks soo cool! i don't have much of an acne problem but i wish this was around when i was a teen! with my daughter turning 12 this summer I may have to consider getting this...she doesn't have a problem now but you never know
Well darn. I wish you would have brought the blue light with you this week to show me. ;)
So interesting to think a light could do this. I wish there'd been something like this when I was a teenager. I'd love to see the results.
It's a little pricey but I would love to have one of these. My skin has gotten so drab lately and I'm always having breakouts, I wish I had one. dwelchert@yahoo.com
This would be great for my little brother.
My daughter would love to give this a try and so would I.
