Making Summer "Bunches" Better with Honey Bunches of Oats!

Around here, unanimous decisions are hard to come by.

Picking a movie to watch? The kids want something animated, my husband wants action, and I want comedy (or a chick flick). Not exactly a match.

Heading outdoors? Big Sister E wants to go to the park, Little Sister B wants to play in the yard, I want to go for a walk, and my husband wants us all to go downtown to the latest festival or event.

Planning dinner? Oh, don't even get me started. Is there some sort of meal that can combine pizza, macaroni & cheese, chicken, salad and pigs in a blanket all into one? If there is, it would probably be pretty gross... not to mention that someone here would still object.

Fortunately, even if my family doesn't always readily agree to much else, I have never heard a complaint when it comes to Honey Bunches of Oats.

Along with the original Honey Bunches of Oats, the line now includes a variety of flavors such as Strawberry, Vanilla Bunches, Cinnamon Bunches, Pecan Bunches, Just Bunches, the new Fruit Blends in Peach Raspberry and Banana Blueberry, and more.

No matter what your preferences, there is a box that is sure to provide the crispy flakes and tasty, crunchy granola clusters with just a touch of honey that the whole family will enjoy! After all, who can resist the delicious crunch that comes along with so many whole grains (10g of whole grain per serving)?

Even though we were already big fans of this cereal in our house, when a Honey Bunches of Oats summer package arrived, it was just right to help make our summer "bunches" better!

Considering how much my kids already love picnics, when this package arrived, it seemed to be calling out to enjoy a morning filled with happy, healthy fun outdoors. It didn't take long before we had our Pottery Barn Cooler Tote filled and ready to head out into the sunshine.

Even better, this unique tote includes speakers built right in so that we were set to enjoy our favorite tunes no matter where we went!

The girls were thrilled to have breakfast outdoors and their eyes lit up as I pulled out the box of Honey Bunches of Oats, bowls, spoons and milk. We've never owned reusable ice cubes before, but I am already loving the ability to use them to keep liquids cold but not have to worry about regular ice cubes melting and watering them down!

Typically our breakfasts are subdued and quiet, as the girls and I (okay, it's really mostly just me) are a little slow wake up in the mornings. But this was the perfect way to start off by shaking up our routine and having it result in smiles to start off the day!

While we had planned to head to our nearby park to fly our Yellow Colorfly Diamond Kite next, the complete lack of wind put a stop to that idea. However, that just means that the next time we notice the breeze picking up, we'll be ready to hop outdoors and continue our "bunches" of fun with this classic summer toy!

When it comes to starting off the day in a healthy, delicious way, Honey Bunches of Oats has always been the first box that we reach for in the cupboard. Now that they have given us the ability to stretch our imaginations and take our breakfast love outdoors, there's no doubt that we'll be returning to our grocery store cereal aisle to pick up more as soon as this box is gone.
