YoCrunch Introduces Yogurt with Motts Applesauce {Review & Giveaway - 3 winners!}

Even though it seems that my girls will love a particular food one day and then shun it the next as if it was dangerous, I never have to worry when it comes to two things: yogurt and applesauce.

No matter what time of day and what else they may have or have not eaten, I can pull out a container of yogurt or a jar of applesauce and know that it will be met with cheers. But in terms of actually mixing the two together? Well, that's just strange... right? Who mixes yogurt with applesauce?

YoCrunch, that's who! We already knew that when it comes to taking something that can be rather ordinary and turning it into something special, that YoCrunch has a huge selection of delicious varieties of yogurt plus crunchy toppings. So when we heard that their newest additions to their unique line include Motts applesauce, we knew that the combination had to be good!

My kids were thrilled over the variety of flavors that they have tried in our previous YoCrunch review, so I knew that they would be just as excited to sample the YoCrunch Vanilla with Motts Original Applesauce with Real Apple Pieces and the YoCrunch Vanilla with Motts Strawberry Applesauce with Cookie Crunchies.

Considering that Vanilla yogurt and Motts applesauce are both quick, easy and healthy snacks that have a sweet, yummy flavor, I wasn't surprised when they received...

Big Sister E and Little Sister B couldn't have been more excited to see that they were not only going to get to eat yogurt but applesauce as well. Each time we opened a new container (the portions are just right for kids), the girls would grin as they looked at the tasty topping (either cookie crunchies or real apple pieces)...

...and the smiles would continue as they peeked at the Motts applesauce waiting at the bottom (either Original Applesauce or Strawberry Applesauce).

As with other YoCrunch varieties, Big Sister E preferred her Yogurt-Applesauce cups well-mixed, while Little Sister B's tastes varied between keeping the two completely separate from the topping, stirring them slightly, or mix, mix, mixing them well.

No matter if the girls were eating the YoCrunch Vanilla with Motts Original Applesauce with Real Apple Pieces or the YoCrunch Vanilla with Motts Strawberry Applesauce with Cookie Crunchies., the results were always lots of Mmmms, smiling faces, and multiple requests for more.

I managed to talk them into sharing a few spoonfuls now and again as well, and found that I enjoyed the way that the yogurt and the applesauce came together in a satisfying and refreshing way. The combination seemed like a thicker, smoother, creamier applesauce and the added crunch was the delicious finish.

My kids are big fans of being able to customize their yogurt for a personalized, homemade taste and I'm just happy giving them fat-free yogurt and real fruit... and all that protein and calcium!
