1-800-Baskets.com Celebrates National Gratitude Day {Review & Giveaway}

1-800-Baskets.com logoHave you ever looked through the enormous collection of bizarre holidays that are listed for each day of the year and wondered who came up with them? I mean, I know there is a history behind Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day, but was there really a reason to create National Static Electricity Day (January 9th), No Socks Day (May 8th), and Use Your Common Sense Day (November 4th)?

I'm sure we've all gotten a kick out of rubbing our feet on the carpet and then giving our sibling a shock, going sans socks in the springtime, and making a decision based on common sense, but was there really a need for a national holiday to celebrate them? I'm thinking not so much.

However, the month of September includes a little-known holiday that I actually agree with: National Gratitude Day, occurring on September 19. Who doesn't need a reminder that we should celebrate the people in our lives that deserve our gratitude?

This year there's no reason to skip the holiday thanks to 1-800-Baskets.com and the fun, tasty and affordable way that they have to tell your relatives, teachers, neighbors, and friends that you appreciate them: the Thank You Deluxe Balsam Basket.

Thank You gift basket

America's leading gourmet gift basket authority, 1-800-Baskets.com knows that National Gratitude Day is an opportunity to brighten someone's day and say thank you in a special way. To me, gratitude is the extra appreciation that is demonstrated or displayed when you truly want someone to know that you feel that they went above and beyond.

So while a card is wonderful and flowers are amazing, is there anyone that wouldn't like to see this basket of goodies adorned in a stylish bow at their door?

Thank You Balsam Basket review

Sure to put a grin on your recipient's face, this hand-woven willow basket arrived filled with delicious gourmet sweets and treats including luscious Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Cocoa, Milano's Smoky Mozzarella Minibaguettes, Otis & Betty's Original Snack Mix, Perugina Capri Candy, and much more.

From sweet to savory to salty, the Thank You Deluxe Balsam Basket had something that the whole family was sure to enjoy and we were ready to dig right in!

gift basket foods

Whether enjoyed all at once or spread out to savor each item individually, you're sure to make your recipient's sweet tooth happy with this collection of fresh, tasty goodies. As an added bonus, when the yummy collection of items are gone, this basket can be utilized for decoration, to serve chips or snacks, or for any number of other uses.

Retailing for $49.99, the Thank You Balsam Basket combines just the right variety of indulgences for anyone. With a large selection of Thank You Gift Baskets available in all types, sizes and price ranges at 1-800-Baskets.com, there's really no reason to not participate in National Gratitude Day and express your sincere appreciation for a special favor, a great gift, a kind word, a loyal show of support, generosity or simply a great friendship.

National Gratitude Day

Plus, as 1-800-Baskets.com focuses on uncompromising quality, value, dedicated artisanship, detailed presentation and a passionate commitment to what they do, they have created a truly better gift basket and are proud to share that with their customers. Knowing that a great gift basket is one that is a true reflection of you – of your taste, your style – they want you to be completely satisfied with the end product reflecting just how you feel about the person you're buying it for.

This year, as well as sending one of their wonderful gifts to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, new baby, wedding and many more, don't forget National Gratitude Day on September 19th to make it known to the special people in your life that you value them.

And, thanks to their generosity, one person will be able to do just that, because...

One lucky person will win the Thank You Deluxe Balsam Basket from 1-800-Baskets.com!

  8. I had to have a pet put down, and could not dig the grave to bury him. But the 2nd day I was frantic and had hurt myself trying to dig for 2 days...A younger neighbor came by after work and said his girlfriend told him I needed help, and this nice boy went out and dug it for me. I would like a nice way to thank him for being so kind. I was already very upset losing my pet and he really helped me.
