So when it comes to adding glimmer and twinkle to her life, the only way to make it even more eye-catching and fun is by allowing her to personalize and decorate her accessories to her liking. Custom bling is the way to go!
And the newest way to hit the market that allows girls to do add colorful twinkle to their cell phones, notebooks, lockers, headphones, jewelry and more is the unique and fun Blingles.
An innovative new way to create your own gem designs that stick to almost anything, Blingles allow you to add your own colorful, sparkle to stationary, accessories, electronics and more quickly and easily.
While my girls are too young to have a cell phone or a locker to bling out, I took one look at the Blingles Accessory Pack that arrived and knew that they would have a great time jazzing up just about anything else they could find.
The Blingles Accessory Pack includes 250 gems and all the tools needed to create Blingles designs. With a bonus trinket box, key chain, picture frame, two gift cards and an instruction booklet, the only thing you need is an imagination and time to bling.
While I initially wondered if the process of using Blingles would be too difficult or time-consuming for Big Sister E (they are recommended for ages 6+), I soon found that each of the steps were actually quite simple.
After choosing an included design template...
![]() |
Each template is double-sided, giving a total of 8 pre-made template options |
...you lay the clear gem mat on top of it and select the colored gems of your choosing with the specially designed gem pen.
After applying the gems to the template with the pen...
...the included transfer slides and glue sheets apply glue to the gems. They are then ready to be placed onto whatever smooth surface girls want to bling!
I have to admit that I didn't have extremely high hopes for Blingles, as I was doubtful that they would keep Big Sister E's attention... not to mention actually hold their pattern and stick tight to whatever surface to which they were applied.
However, I was proven completely wrong by the time we were finished blinging our first project! We both had a lot of fun and the result was something that Big Sister E couldn't wait to hang onto her backpack!
As an added bonus, I appreciate that Blingles gives inspiration through the included pre-set patterns while also allowing girls to design their own. So if they are in the mood to add their initials, school mascot or their own unique creation, the finished masterpiece is one that they can look at and show off for quite some time to come.
At nearly 6, Big Sister E is just at the young end of the age range for Blingles but she was able to accomplish adding her sparkle designs to her possessions without any problem. I think that this set would be great for just about any young girl that wants to add a little custom bling to her possessions!
Ranging in price from $9.99 to $19.99 (now available at Walmart, Target, Toys 'R Us or on MyBlingles.com and Amazon.com) the Blingles line includes the Bling Studio, Blingles Accessory Pack, Blingles Fashion Pack and Blingles Gem Themed Packs, each of which comes with everything girls need to create fun designs like musical notes, fruits and candy, or stars and animals.
If you have a young lady in your life that would enjoy showing off her personal style and love of sparkles, this would be a great gift to celebrate heading back to school, the holidays, birthdays and more! Thanks to the generosity of Blingles, one person will get to provide the girl in their life with that opportunity, because...
