Awesome Adventures: Thrills & Chills DVD {Review & Giveaway}

While I would like to say that I have all of my daughters' likes and dislikes completely figured out, I'm pretty sure that every single parent out there would know that just isn't true. Whether the item in question is princesses or green beans, one day it might be a favorite and the next? Not even on their radar.

Therefore, when it comes to picking out a DVD, I'm never 100% sure what they'll pick (not to mention coming to a consensus). Which is why I love the way that Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment have managed to combine many of our favorite characters into one convenient collection. No complaining about whose turn it is to choose and no whining over watching one show longer than another. Just pop in one disc and you're good to go!

Plus, with the fall weather arriving and the topic of Halloween beginning to flood children's minds, now is the perfect time to reach for a hauntingly good preschool collection of fun found in Awesome Adventures: Thrills & Chills.

Awesome Adventures Thrills and Chills

Arriving on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand just last week, this all-new line-up includes everyone's lovable friends Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder as they get their spook on in six fun-filled episodes. I love being able to have all of these great pals together in one place to teach lessons about friendship, responsibility, cooperation, loyalty, sharing, and more!

It's happy haunting as our favorite heroes and pals take on spirits, friendly frights and things that go bump in the night. So leave a light on and settle in for some scary-good fun! Featuring a bonus episode of Thomas & Friends – Buzzy Bees on Digital Download and On Demand, the Awesome Adventures: Thrills & Chills DVD will be sure to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.

Thomas & Friends Haunted Henry

Aimed at children ages 2 - 5, this DVD has a feature running time of 52 minutes, which is just the right amount of time to keep short attention spans interested and ready for more.

Whether joining Thomas and his friends on some ghostly encounters, cheering on Fireman Sam as he keeps everyone safe from scares, or laughing as Bob the Builder and the machine team go batty with some new nighttime pals, this collection is filled with a few tricks, lots of treats and plenty of fun for all!

Episodes include:
  • Thomas & Friends – Halloween
  • Thomas & Friends – Haunted Henry
  • Thomas & Friends – Duncan Gets Spooked
  • Thomas & Friends – Buzzy Bees (Available only as a Digital Download and On Demand Exclusive)
  • Fireman Sam - Mummy's Little Pumpkin
  • Bob the Builder - Trix's Pumpkin Pie
  • Bob the Builder - Dizzy's Sleepover
Bob the Builder Trix's Pumpkin Pie

If you have a child who is a fan of any or all of these characters or if you're looking for a gift that is sure to please, Awesome Adventures: Thrills & Chills is a mixture of all things action adventure and has the assortment of friends, lessons, and laughter to make everyone happy. We love being able to move from one episode to the next to keep things entertaining and interesting!

Available now and retailing for $14.98 (or on on Amazon for $12.99), this DVD will allow you to bring home some variety to your young train, firefighter and building enthusiast today!

And, thanks to the generosity of Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, one person will be able to scare up some fun this Halloween as well, because...
