I've mentioned it before, but one of the things that I consistently look forward to with the arrival of spring is sandals. Being able to pack away the winter boots and pull out easy-to-wear, comfortable, warm weather shoes just has a way of making me happy each year.

In absolutely perfect timing (as she was just starting to outgrow the Caleb Brown tennis shoes from a past pediped review) when we pulled the Flex Venus in Charcoal/Blue out of the box, both of our jaws dropped a few inches when we saw that they were exactly the pair that she would have designed for herself.

My rugged, rough-and-tumble girl loves tennis shoes and especially loves turquoise and silver, so it was no wonder that she reached for this pair of shoes while whispering, in an awed voice, These are for ME?

Made with Ultra Light Technology, these comfortable and stylish shoes are especially designed to support children's growing feet. Featuring flex grooves to support natural foot movement and heal cushioning, this line provides maximum flexibility while remaining light as air — these shoes only weigh approximately five ounces!

These modern tennis shoes are water safe and washable and the Velcro closure makes them extremely easy to get on and off. As well as the easy care, I love that the breathable mesh upper allows for airflow and the heel cushion protects against impact and distributes pressure evenly. Big Sister E's feet can stay snug, dry and looking good day after day!

But one of my absolute favorite features of these pediped shoes is that they contain their trademark Flex Fit System. By providing an additional set of insoles, these can be inserted for a more snug fit (they reduce the shoe size by almost half a size) and then removed for room as the child's foot grows. Talk about extending the life of a shoe!
