Which is why it is perfect that Walt Disney Studios has recently been proudly celebrating the heartwarming animated classic that started it all with the release of The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh on Blu-ray and HD Digital.
That's right, available now for the first time on Blu-ray and HD Digital, Disney's classic The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh allows a whole new generation to fall in love with Pooh and his friends.
Whether we're young or forever young at heart, the Hundred Acre Wood calls to that place in each of us that still believes in magic. So what better way to share all the fun, whimsy and wonder of this amazing original Disney classic than by having it digitally restored and remastered in high definition to thrill a whole new generation?
As my kids have long been fans of Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and Eeyore...
...I had no doubt that they would be thrilled to see this beloved original animated classic whenever they wanted.
Sure enough, they have never gotten tired of seeing Tigger "pounce" Pooh; laughing out loud when Pooh’s rumbly tumbly gets him stuck in a hilariously sticky situation; sympathizing with Eeyore's woes; and more.
There's just no way to not grin when watching our favorite Hundred Acre Wood characters come alive in this timeless motion picture overflowing with rich animation, masterful storytelling and unforgettable songs!
Stuffed with extraordinary bonus features galore, The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh will make fans of all ages shout "Hip Hip Pooh-Ray!"
- Disney Intermission – Press "pause" during the movie and find out what happens! The narrator invites younger viewers to play along with the Hundred Acre Wood friends in a variety of engaging activities.
- Pooh Play-Along – In this bonus feature, the narrator invites viewers to play along with Pooh and his friends.
- Five Mini Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Shorts: If I Wasn’t So Small, Piglet’s Drawings, The Expedition, Geniuses and The Honey Song.
- A Day for Eeyore – Classic Animated Short
- The Story Behind the Masterpiece – Making of Featurette
- The Winnie the Pooh Theme Song – Performed by Carly Simon
- An exclusive free in-pack kite! This was surprise aspect that my kids have been very excited about, now we just need a windy day to bring it out and let it soar!
Along with their humorous antics and whimsical adventures, one aspect that I have always appreciated about Pooh, Tigger and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood friends is the way that each episode has a positive message.
There are no attitudes, whining, fighting or more, simply friends helping friends, believing in yourself and learning to make the right choices whenever possible!
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh has a suggested retail price of $36.99 for the Blu-ray Combo Pack and $26.99 for the DVD and is available now. With a running time of 74 minutes and a G rating, this is one set that you're going to want to bring home for the entire family to enjoy time and time again!
Find out more about this new release by visiting DisneyBluRay.com and connecting with the Hundred Acre Wood friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Other than the information and Blu-ray Combo Pack that I was provided by Disney, I was not compensated or enticed to do this review in any way. This post is solely my honest opinion about this product.

I will definitely be getting this for our little girl who's arriving in October! My husband and I were just talking about showing her all the classic Disney movies. We were worried we would have trouble finding them!

Winnie the Pooh is a delight forever and ever and ever!
I sure loved Winnie the Pooh when I was a kid, and I still love this show. I would love to own this on DVd. It is a classic that I will always love.
Winnie the Pooh is a true classic! I really like all the bonus features, and the kit looks like such fun!
It's great that A.A. Milne's lovable characters are able to be enjoyed by children today. I bet the restoration from the original movie that came out more than 30 years ago is remarkable and all the interactive features they've added probably make the viewing experience much more fun! I also like that they included a kite! I'm sure the girls will enjoy it on a windy day!
my daughter loves Winnie the Pooh.
