This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.
With springtime on the horizon (it matters zero to Mother Nature that spring has technically already arrived, considering we're still getting snow here in the Midwest), I'm on the constant lookout for ways to shake off the winter blues and welcome the changing of the seasons.
I am fortunate in that I have two kids who don't mind getting in on the action when it comes to cleaning (Big Sister E actually stated, Spring Cleaning is pretty fun! the other day after sweeping the bathroom floor), but that wasn't the case around five years ago. Every mom knows that when they have an infant and/or a toddler, cleaning is a task that often feels nearly impossible!
Fortunately, moms also know that when it comes to being clean, even if there are dishes or laundry piled up, at least their little ones can stay clean with Pampers Sensitive Wipes.
We quickly became devoted fans of all things Pampers when my girls were babies and I can attest that their Sensitive Wipes provide the best gentle clean! They are clinically proven mild, dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and perfume-free, while also being 20% thicker than their regular wipes.
Combine all that with Pampers Sensitive Wipes' unique Softgrip Texture and you and your baby can enjoy less wiping and more gentle cleaning during changing time. It's a win-win!
So, with spring nearly here, that means that the upcoming warm weather months will be filled with weddings, new babies and all things new (and adventurous). And what better way to celebrate the soon-to-be arrival of a newborn than with Pampers Sensitive Wipes and baby gear for the little one and some practical, cleaning supplies for his/her parents?
When Pampers sent over a great collection of spring cleaning items...
...I knew that they were the perfect start to a homemade, awesome baby shower gift for a good friend who is due with baby #3 in a few short weeks. After all, as she doesn't need baby clothes or a bouncy seat or more traditional first-time mom items, why not put together a present that could help all over the house?
I love the idea of being able to pass along favorite products to other moms and this is a way to give a wonderful gift that can be customized extremely easily. Bigger, smaller, handmade, store-bought, it's up to you!
In this case, I picked up items at various places when out shopping in the past few weeks, put in an online order or two, and ended up with plenty of items to add to the cleaning caddy. Once I decided to put them all together, I was happy to see the wide variety that resulted!
Pampers Sensitive Wipes, aden + anais wraps, onesies and a plush book for baby, a whole slew of cleaning supplies and household necessities for her husband, and a gift card to her favorite local coffee shop for mom. Seems like Dad and the older kids could do a little spring cleaning while Mom and the newborn take a walk in the spring sunshine to relax with a cup of coffee, doesn't it?
What would you add to a "Gentle Clean" Baby Shower Gift Basket?

ReplyDeleteWhile baby gifts are typically baby items, gifts can certainly expand to include household cleaners/detergents/air freshners that are 'green' ... safe for use in a new baby environment. We had a sensitive skin baby and it's not just the wipes and lotions for the baby. It's the lotion mom uses on her hands, it's the detergent that mom and dad wash their clothes in. I would definitely include some 'sensitive' cleaning products or lotions for the family with a note that a new baby impacts the big picture in the house.
