I have to admit that when it comes to luxury fashion, sometimes I feel like I don't even understand what's going on. How does that count as an article of clothing when it is filled with sharp angles, weird adornments, and a shape that barely looks wearable, let alone remotely comfortable? Do I just not understand fashion?
However, then I'm introduced to the other end of the spectrum, where each piece is crisp, modern, well made, extremely chic, and extremely appealing and I realize that those are the designers that get it. No matter if you're looking to hit the town for a night out, dress to impress at work or simply lounge by the pool with friends, there is stylish clothing to do it in.
Where to find it for both men and women? None other than the iconic Scoop NYC.
A New York City-based boutique for men and women that boasts 17 boutique locations and an online website, Scoop NYC first opened in SoHo in 1996. Since then, Scoop NYC has opened stores from coast to coast that, along with their online site, offer a highly edited selection of the season's best fashion items from both internationally acclaimed and young emerging designers.
Their signature store design, dubbed "The Ultimate Closet," offers a one-stop shopping experience of expertly curated styles: luxury, designer and contemporary ready-to-wear is merchandised together in a sleek shopping environment alongside the season's most coveted shoes and accessories. In addition, Scoop’s styling associates serve as wardrobe consultants, providing unrivaled personal customer service.
In short, Scoop NYC offers style savvy customers the season's best fashion all under one roof!
While there is no Scoop NYC boutique near me, I love browsing their website to drool over all of the incredible options for every season.
I would definitely sport the Veronica Beard Long Sleeve Schoolboy Dickey Jacket to stay warm while looking chic this winter...
...while the Ulla Johnson Cotton Eyelet Mini Skirt would be absolutely adorable with tights and boots during the cold temps and with bare legs and sandals when life warms back up.
And can we talk just for a second about how I would live in the Velvet Sancha Long Sleeve Brushed Jersey Sweatshirt? Decadently soft, exquisitely cozy and still fashionable? Yes, please!
Whether you head to ScoopNYC.com (or into one of their boutiques, if you're lucky enough to live nearby or be visiting the area of one) with a specific clothing, accessory or footwear item in mind or you simply want to browse amazing fashion, you won't be disappointed. I could get lost looking at all of the gorgeous bags, coats, scarves, denim, dresses, loungewear and more!
And don't forget that the men in your life can find themselves looking fashionable and hip thanks to Scoop NYC as well. While the prices are much higher than what you'll find in your local department store, if you're a chic, follow-the-runway shopper, then you know that money is no object when it comes to style.
Find out more about all of the great pieces, wonderful customer service, cool shopping bags that change with the seasons, and more available from Scoop NYC by visiting ScoopNYC.com and connecting with them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Love the Veronica Jacket. Lots of great looks.
I do not live near a store but I prefer shopping online anyway so I will certainly look at their website
I'd think these clothes would really appeal to younger people.
